1969 Caro-Nan Handpainted Decoupage Basket Purse W/ Fashion Travel Village Motif

A wonderful Caro-Nan handpainted and decoupaged basket purse measuring 10x9.5x4 inches (their largest size). The basket,paint, and decoupage are all in excellent condition as is the fabric interior. The basket top hinges are rusted and do not open and close with ease and will need to be replaced if one wants to carry as a purse rather than display. The purse was commissioned and sold by a store called Leonard’s which may have been in Phoenix, though I’m not sure. The penny on the top is dated 1969 which denotes the year the purse was made.
