Here is a shimmering classic vintage 1940's evening handbag by Whiting and Davis. The super shiny gold tone mesh is ruched along the top of the sleek metal purse frame. The interior is roomy with one slot pocket holding a cosmetic mirror. The hand chain has a 4 1/2 inch drop and a kiss clasp closure. Signed with the Whiting and Davis logo and Made in U.S.A incised on both sides of the purse frame. Condition: Previously owned, good vintage condition with no rips, stains or odor to the lining. The metal mesh is really shiny and bright. The purse frame shows light age appropriate wear at close inspection. Measures Approximately: 5 3/4 High, 7 1/2 Wide at bottom.
