This lovely black satin foldover clutch has a gold tone frame that snaps well and a smaller matching white satin coin purse. It came from the famed Neusteters Department Store in Denver, CO, and has a fabric label inside. I believe it likely dates from the late 1950’s to early 1969’s; Neusteters closed in 1986 but was known for high end fine fashion. The purse is in excellent condition, with no snags or tears - there are a couple of small stains I have not attempted to remove. The interior has some staining from a pen, and the same pen stained the white coin purse - I have not attempted to clean either. This elegant bag measures 9.5” long (unfolded) x 9.25” wide x .5”. Beautiful dressy handbag that is clean and minimalist in its design!
